Seth appeared as the first source in the Encore section article by Karen Hube in the October 2, 2006 Wall Street Journal on “Property Play, Yes, real estate can still help your nest egg – but the game is getting a lot tougher.”

The October 2006 issue of Kiplinger Retirement Letter featured Seth as a source on managing real estate in retirement.

In September 2006, Cape Business, Seth wrote an article “Inadequate estate planning could put the next generation at risk,” discussing how only about one in five actually have a complete estate plan. And within businesses, only 62 percent of significant shareholders report knowing of the senior generation’s intentions on transferring ownership.

Seth was featured in Investment Advisor's June 2006 Soapbox feature on “The next biggest investment hoax,” about tenants-in-common deals and why investors should avoid them.

Seth was interviewed for an article to appear in Registered Representative in April 2006 about the benefits of real estate licenses in serving clients of financial advisor


Seth Pearson, spoke with Joanne Cleaver, Real Estate Editor for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on the Bush Administration's trial balloon to eliminate deductions on second home mortgages to appear in March


Seth, was interviewed by Mary Beth Franklin, Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine on changes in Medicaid, Long Term Care Insurance and Estate Planning for the upcoming Retirement Planning Guide, Spring, 2006.

 
Seth was interviewed by Amy E. B. Crane for a Better Investing Magazine article on making an energy play with ETFs.

Seth was a primary source for an Investor's Business Daily story "CR Trust Helps Both Others and You."  Seth was quoted about the tax breaks that occur when charitable remainder trusts are part of estate planning in this story that ran on November 28, 2005.

Seth authored the article "Guarding the Castle" in the
October 2005 issue of Investment Advisor Magazine.  He discussed the importance of pre-planning real estate transactions before retirement to take advantage of the time required for certain tax deferral strategies.


Seth appeared in the Retirement Newsletter, a subscription publication from www.marketwatch.com.  He was a source on dynasty trusts for editor, Robert Powell.


Seth appeared in the May 2005 issue of Employee Benefit News on what to do with 401(k) assets at retirement.  In addition a .pdf file will be posted on BenefitNews.com so that benefit managers may pass the article around to employees.

Seth Pearson was quoted in the November 2005 WORTH/ROBB REPORT Magazine on incentive trusts. Seth’s by line article on “Managing Highly Appreciated Real Estate in Retirement” in the September 2004 issue of Financial Planning Magazine was featured on the cover. Seth has been quoted on a variety of trust and managing highly appreciated real estate in retirement issues in Investor’s Business Daily, Palm Beach Daily News, CBSMarketwatch.com, and National Underwriter.

Seth was quoted in Investment Advisor Magazine in June 2004. about "Understanding Real Estate Exchange Deals."  He said "when you read the offering documents (for tenants-in-common deals) you won't like what you read."  Pearson redirects clients, instead, to private annuities, charitable gift annuities, or charitable remainder trusts.

Seth appeared as a source in “The Home Stretch” about wealth tied up in homes and vacation property making retirement plan ning more complex, published in Financial Planning Magazine, August 2004.

Seth served as a source in the May 3, 2004 issue of U.S. News and World Report, talking about “Taxing Choices for Investors” about the constant changes in the tax law making planning an investment portfolio more difficult.
